Biography
Alexander Vindman was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, and immigrated to the United States as a child. He earned his B.A. from SUNY Binghamton and his M.A. from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. He served in the U.S. Army for 21 years, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. He served as Director for European Affairs on the National Security Council and testified before Congress in 2019 during the first impeachment inquiry of President Trump.
