James Talarico

James Dell Talarico has served in the Texas House of Representatives since 2019. He previously worked as a middle school English teacher and as executive director of the education nonprofit Reasoning Mind. He holds a Master of Divinity from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He is the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Texas in 2026.
