Biography

John Hickenlooper was born on February 7, 1952, in Narberth, Pennsylvania. He earned his B.A. and M.A. from Wesleyan University. He worked as a geologist before founding the Wynkoop Brewing Company in Denver. He served as Mayor of Denver from 2003 to 2011 and as Governor of Colorado from 2011 to 2019. He was elected to the Senate in 2020.
