Biography
Jon Husted was born on August 25, 1967, in Royal Oak, Michigan. He earned his B.A. from the University of Dayton. He served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2001 to 2009, including as Speaker. He served as Ohio Secretary of State from 2011 to 2019, and as Lieutenant Governor under Gov. Mike DeWine from 2019 to 2025. Gov. DeWine appointed him to the U.S. Senate in January 2025.
