Lindsey Graham was born on July 9, 1955, in Central, South Carolina. He earned his B.A. and J.D. from the University of South Carolina. He served as a U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer. He served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1995 to 2003. He was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2002 and re-elected in 2008, 2014, and 2020.
