Kristina Marie Gluesenkamp Perez was born on June 4, 1988, in Harris County, Texas. She earned her B.A. in economics from Reed College. She co-owned an auto repair and machine shop with her husband, Dean, before coming to Congress. She was elected in 2022 and re-elected in 2024. She represents a district in southwest Washington that includes Vancouver, Longview, and Centralia.
