Mary Peltola
Mary Sattler Peltola is an Alaska Native politician who served as the U.S. Representative for Alaska's at-large congressional district from 2022 to 2025. She was the first Alaska Native elected to Congress and the first Democrat to hold Alaska's House seat since 1972. She announced her candidacy for the U.S. Senate in January 2026.
