## Biography

Michael Vincent Lawler was born in 1986 in New York. He earned his B.A. from Fordham University. He served in the New York State Assembly from 2021 to 2023. He was elected to Congress in 2022, defeating incumbent Democrat Sean Patrick Maloney. He was re-elected in 2024. He represents a district that includes all or parts of Rockland, Putnam, and Westchester counties.
