Pete Ricketts

John Peter Ricketts has served as the junior United States Senator from Nebraska since January 2023, when he was appointed to fill the vacancy created by Ben Sasse's resignation. He previously served as the 40th Governor of Nebraska from 2015 to 2023. He won a special election in 2024 to complete the term.
