Shelley Moore Capito

Shelley Wellons Moore Capito has served as the senior United States Senator from West Virginia since January 2015. She is the first woman elected to the U.S. Senate from West Virginia. She previously served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2001 to 2015 and in the West Virginia House of Delegates.
