Biography
Tom Barrett is a Michigan politician who served in the Michigan State Senate before being elected to Congress in 2024, defeating Democratic incumbent Elissa Slotkin's successor Curtis Hertel. He represents a district in the Lansing area. He is seeking re-election in 2026 against a Democratic primary field that includes former Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink.
