Vivek Ramaswamy is the Republican nominee for Governor of Ohio in 2026. He is a biotech entrepreneur and was a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024. He won the May 5, 2026 Republican primary, defeating automotive entrepreneur Casey Putsch. He has received the endorsement of President Trump and Vice President Vance. Incumbent Governor Mike DeWine is term-limited.
