Biography

Ashley Moody was born in Plant City, Florida. She earned her B.A. from the University of Florida and her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She served as a federal prosecutor and as a Hillsborough County circuit judge before being elected Florida Attorney General in 2018 and re-elected in 2022. Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed her to the U.S. Senate in January 2025.
